Community Rules

  1. Vulgar and obscene language or user names will not tolerated at any time: Granted some words are on the borderline in which case I will check context and the reaction of other members. The poster of vulgar/obscene language will be rebuked and given a warning. Members with vulgar/obscene user names will be asked to change their user name. A member will be warned for posts that are, hostile or degrading towards people/denominations/sects, inappropriate for the forums, or uses language that is inappropriate. The posts will be deleted or edited, and continued bad language/nick names, insulting of other members or hostility will result in banning.


  2. Forums: The forums are for discussing Jesus Christ and the Bible. Please do not debate religion on these forums. Discussions should be focused on the forums main topic, not about other members or their personal faith. Posts that include insults, profanity or accusations will be deleted and the author will get a warning or be banned depending on severity.


  3. Blogs: Blogs can be about anything related to Christian living. Example topics include faith, sin, salvation, justification, Jesus, scripture, prayer, church life, ect. Please tag your post with key words that describe your topic. Posts that include insults, profanity or accusations will be deleted and the author will get a warning or be banned depending on severity.


  4. Provide Verse References: When quoting verses from the bible please reference the book, chapter and verse.


  5. Focus on Topics: Discussions should be focused around a specific topic, not about other members or their personal faith. If your post does not pertain to the ORIGINAL thread post then it will be deleted. If you are not sure what the subject is then read the original post at the top of the thread. Any thread subject that is sure to start an uncivil debate such as "orthodox and un-orthodox: who is right" will be deleted. Posts that include insults, profanity or accusations will be deleted and the author will get a warning or be banned depending on severity.


  6. Use personal contact forms to send personal messages or for agreed upon communications:
    The contact forms are not to be used to spread your version of Christianity. I will not tolerate abuse or the harassment of posters for any reason. If I need to I will turn off personal contact forms.


  7. No forcing your version of Christianity on other people:
    We all have our denominations and most of us are enthusiastic about those denominational beliefs. There is a fine line between enthusiasm and being "pushy". Don't force your dogma on to another person. Expound, Explain, Explore but don't be pushy.
